Tren Hex — Trenbolone Hexahydrobenzylcarbonate — is the original pharmaceutical-grade Trenbolone preparation, marketed under the brand name Parabolan by Negma Laboratories in France. It was the only Trenbolone compound ever approved for human clinical use, prescribed for muscle-wasting conditions and malnutrition before its discontinuation in 1997. The hexahydrobenzylcarbonate ester is a large, complex ester that produces a prolonged release profile with a terminal half-life of approximately 14 days — making it the longest-acting Trenbolone preparation available. The 76mg/ml concentration reflects the original pharmaceutical formulation (76mg Trenbolone Hex per ampoule, delivering approximately 50mg of active Trenbolone base after ester weight is subtracted).

The active hormone is identical to Trenbolone Acetate and Trenbolone Enanthate — the same 500:500 anabolic-to-androgenic compound, the same androgen receptor hyper-affinity, the same glucocorticoid antagonism, the same nutrient partitioning enhancement, the same zero aromatization. The hexahydrobenzylcarbonate ester changes nothing about what Trenbolone does once freed from the ester — it only changes how long the depot releases active hormone into circulation. Peak serum levels are reached gradually over several days, and the long tail means that a single injection provides active Trenbolone for approximately 2-3 weeks.

Parabolan carries a legendary reputation that partially reflects genuine pharmacological superiority and partially reflects the mystique of a discontinued pharmaceutical product. The reality is that all Trenbolone esters deliver the same active compound — the choice between acetate, enanthate, and hex is a choice about release kinetics and injection frequency, not about the quality of the Trenbolone itself. Where Parabolan genuinely distinguishes itself is in convenience: once-weekly or even once-every-10-days injection is sufficient to maintain research-grade serum levels, a significant practical advantage over the daily injection schedule of acetate.

This is an advanced-level compound — all the same warnings that apply to Trenbolone Acetate and Enanthate apply here, with the additional consideration that the long ester makes adverse effects slower to resolve upon discontinuation. Researchers should have proven Trenbolone tolerance (ideally established with acetate) before committing to a long-acting ester. The extended clearance window means that if Trenbolone produces intolerable side effects — insomnia, mood disruption, cardiovascular stress — the researcher must endure several weeks of declining but still-active hormone levels after stopping.

Parabolan is administered once weekly or every 10 days. The 76mg/ml concentration means that higher-volume injections are required compared to Tren Enanthate at 200mg/ml — researchers should plan injection sites and volumes accordingly. Standard research doses are 228-380mg/week (3-5ml). It pairs with long-ester testosterone (enanthate or cypionate) for schedule alignment. PCT timing must account for the extended clearance: SERM therapy should not begin until approximately 3-4 weeks after the final injection. All standard Trenbolone ancillaries apply — testosterone base, cabergoline availability, LC-MS/MS estradiol testing, and cardiovascular monitoring.

Dose ranges published in the peptide-research literature vary considerably. Research protocols should be designed by a qualified researcher and use the lowest effective dose consistent with the hypothesis being tested. Half-life determines dosing frequency — shorter half-lives usually require daily dosing, while long-acting analogues tolerate weekly administration.
